Peter has gained vast experience in all lines of claims since starting his career with Delong & Associates Inc. in 1990 after graduating from the University of Prince Edward Island with a Bachelor of Business Administration Diploma. He then earned his CIP designation with the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Peter continues to adjust all types of claims.

He has developed extensive experience in the handling of large property losses, oil spills, and other environmental losses, as well as large agricultural claims. He also has experience in professional liability, marine, and CGL claims involving multiple claimants.
Peter is presently on the Board of Directors for the Insurance Insitute of P.E.I.
While not adjusting claims, Peter can be found swimming, biking, and running throughout P.E.I. as he is an avid tri-athlete and adventure racer.
